vortech supercharger inquiry

I have an 86' with a carroll installed V1 kit.There is a rocker switch next to the gear shifter marked water injection.In one direction the switch is marked on/test ,the other way it reads off/alm.sil. When i floor the gas pedal on take off there is an alarm somewhere behind the dash and the only way to stop this is pushing the rocker switch toward off/alm.sil. Can anyone explain to me what this is for and why. Thanks Bob.

The alarm is likely an indication of low fluid level in the water injection tank or bladder. If so, fill'er up with a water/alchohol mix.

Most suggest using a 50/50 mixture of water and methanol.
