Default How much spray?

How much can one spray reliably?

Can you give me a list of how much spray vs. parts required.

On my old non-forged motor, I sprayed a 150 shot.
My new motor is fully forged (crank, rods, pistons) and still set up on a 150 shot which I haven't sprayed yet, I'm requiring a new fuel solenoid.

Could I safely spray like a 200 or a 250 shot on a fully forged 383?

Yes you could. I aslo have a forged 383 and sprayed it with +/-275 with no problems. I'm pretty sure it could handle more, but I have to drop the rear gears.....

Do you know what the top ring gap on your new motor is?

No neat I don't. I could try and find out. What would be the acceptable range that I would be looking for? The engine builders were told I'd have nitrous hooked up and running.
