Default Lets see your Nitrous setups!

Just bought my Nitrous setup and looking to install in my C4. Show me some pics of your install and all the goodies you bought for your kit.

I couldn't pass up a NS EFI Wet kit for 375 with a pressure gauge new

like to see pics and brand names of parts that you bought so i can track them down and do my homework of what i want. i got pretty much an idea already but it never hurts to ask more questions

BTW here is the kit i bought group purchase on CAC

This system uses a single Fogger nozzle, easily installed nearly anywhere and is adjustable from 50-150 HP. PowerStar EFI systems are complete, ready to install with all necessary hardware, a distinctive red 10lb bottle and a comprehensive instruction manual. Lots of companies and Net operations claim to make big HP with their systems and some do, but sometimes that comes at the expense of longevity (tuning on the ragged edge for the best "numbers", not necessarily the best for your application!). I've personally checked out and shopped various nitrous system companies and suppliers and NS has the most going for it... Top-notch product quality, a wealth of nitrous knowledge and history (Mike Thermos made NOS Nitrous a household name) along with an unmatched technical support team led by Wady "Pro Mod Wad" Haman. NS is the real deal!

Special introductory pricing at $375 (plus shipping) for CAC members, with the first two systems sold including a free inline nitrous pressure gauge (a $45 value).

You may have seen mine last year when I did the install, I had a thread going. If not than here's my Barry Grant kit on the table and installed. Mine is a wet plate kit. I added a purge kit and a bottle heater, a hobbs switch, a WOT switch, a pressure switch that cuts off the bottle heater along with all the necessary relays and switches ect. The kits are usally the bare minimum and the safety stuff has to be added.

Thought you may want to see one on an L98.

thanks fella's!

Dave,

How did you mount the bottle? I would like to put mine sideways against the back cargo hatch and I guess I really need to look up under the car and see where I can drill and mount the bottle and how and where to run the line.

Mic,
I mounted mine the way it is because the siphon tube needs to be down and to the rear of car to ensure good pickup under G's. See Barry Grant reccomendations here...
http://www.barrygrant.com/fromBarryG...PI-NITROUS.pdf

I cut a piece of 1/2" plywood into a fit panel and carpeted it and mounted the bottle to it. Then used some side braces to secure the panel. Then ran the blowdown tube and lines like so. It works nice this way because the fuel lines pass right under the corner of the cargo box so you can just run the N2O line out of the corner of cargo box then along side of them all the way to the engine bay. Like so....The yellow hose is my emergency blowdown tube.

Final product with carpet back in cargo box...

Hope this is helpful.

im curious about the nitrous supply kit too. that looks like a good deal. Is nitrous supply just a branch off of NOS who is part of Holley?

Default To Biff and DB

NS is the company Mike Thermos founded after his noncompete clause with NOS/Holley expired. Thermos, as most nitrous racers know, founded Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) back in 1978, and his company was responsible for many innovations within the industry, and he ultimately sold NOS to Holley.

As to linking, drop me a PM and I'll get you the info you need.
