how can I unlock an Ed Wright PCM to reflash a tune? anyone?

Chris,

My understanding is you have to replace the computer

A co-worker of mine recently went to Ed Wrights to get a cal. His PCM was locked, Ed told him the only way to fix it was to replace it with a new one, so they did. It was an LS1 Trans Am. Ed also told him that at one time all of the custom cal writers would lock the PCMs, but he stopped doing it recently because so many people are calibrating now and it's just not that big of a deal.
