Default Naturally aspirated no more!!!!!!

well.. got everything buttoned up on the 95 this afternoon. fired her up and all is well. have a few more details to finish up on her like the boost gauge install which I will tackle tomorrow, and need to install an Xpipe I have had for it for about a year and a half and a set of new mufflers.. the old SLP mufflers lost all there packing years ago and are obnoxiously loud.

the blower was suprisingly quieter then I had expected it to be.. I am contributing that to the fact that it has a cam and heads on the car and the idle is set at 950 RPM which probably keeps the blower moving a little better then stock idle, it also has a 7.5" crank pulley.

I need to replace a large hose clamp for the intermediate boost at the intercooler outlet.. even a qucik snap of the throttle after warming her up to operating temp blew the boot off the intercooler..lol this little P1 seems to move some decent air.

I relocated the MAF between the throttle body and intercooler and am venting the bypass valve to atmospher before the intercooler so as not to confuse the MAF. all in all, can't wait to hit the dyno with it.

If anyone has a blower tune for a 355, ~9.8 : 1 compression, 42 lb injectors, and ported heads/intake with a something similar to a 219 cam.. lemme know..lol

I don't wanna wait to put this bitch under boost and have to make a dyno appointment monday.. it sucks having to wait..lol

Chris I may have a blower cal for you. Give me a shout next week, I will look through my laptop files. Do you have a wide band? Every car is different even if they got the same parts.

Hey tom,

yeah we have a innovative setup and I can also throw her on the dyno locally and check everything out while scanning and pull a log.. do you have a tuning program recommendation? tunercat? lt1edit? is there anything else out there more user friendly? haven't looked at tuning software in a LONG time so going through the maps will have a bit of a learning curve, but a solid base tune would be very helpful!

Chris
Get TunerCat for less than $100 which is the tuner software and the $EE PCM definition you will have all you need. Also the Tuner software will allow you to tune various chip cars and trucks as well. You will also need a cable to talk to the PCM, that can be purchased from www.akmcables.com or from www.wotelectronics.com
