Default well i did it

hi guys
the vette shop in Pa just installed my new 383 engine and the 4l80e trans. what work they do. the drive train is completely set to GM specs. em racing headers will go in tomorrow and they will finish the exh. up. this is the only place to go if you need your vette work on. this fab, you name it. you can hang on the c-beam, nothing moves. what a job. for anyone that would like to contact them, their # is 215-332-9590. i cant tell what great work they do. the best they know this it the first 4l80e trans in a c4.
regards gene

Glad to hear they do some good work, is the place actually called "The Vette Shop"? I'm not sure I want to know how big of a bill you ran up. I would like to see the piece they used to mate the tranny to the C-beam. Have any pics?? This has been done in a few C4's already, but the custom piece between the Tranny and Cbeam and the custom drive shaft kinda scared me off of it.

What controller are you using with the 4L80e?
Also what converter did you go with?

I just installed a 4L80E myself behind my 434.
I ran a 10.9 on motor locking the converter at WOT
You'll be happy its a strong transmission. Heavy too!
John

the name of the shop is called the vette shop in warminster Pa. they do some great fab work. i didnt think the bills going to be that bad. they installed the engine, all the trans work, headers, custom fab exh. all electrical work.

john iam running a pro torque 2400 stall. this shop dose some very nice work andd they are quick, but done right. the computer is from rapture transmission. the guys at the vette shop thought its the best trans control computer they have ever see. dose anything and every thing. it even has a switch being installed that you use to downshift or upshift without using the shifter. heavy yes, weight for strong.
