What hp/tq does your boosted car put out and what does it run in the 1/8 and 1/4?
I saw an awesome thread like this with over 500 posts on a different forum. Try to list specifics on your combo so that we can get an idea of what stuff is capable. That question pops up on this forum once a month, so if we all list our stuff, then we can refer them back to this thread...
"red dragon" , 1992 383, approx 9.75 compression, LT4 intake and heads, auto, vortech s trim, 6 rib, gregs inlet pipe, 2.85" pulley, 3.73 gears. Unknown spec cam(bought the car used), alky injection with progressive flow of 60% alky/40% distilled h20, 15 gph.

1988 Callaway TT #48. Has 7.5:1 comp. ratio, large Wonderbar and ported wastegates upgrades, and large runners with stock extrude honed intake base. Car made 420rwhp and 586rwtq in 12lbs of boost and 93 octane.
Have not been to the track in this car (don't really plan to, because knowing my luck, something major would break... ), so no timeslips to speak of.
Looking forward to reading about the big number cars lurking out there!
easycreeper,
My brother has a pair of Callaways, the '88 Aerobody is really nice (totally stock), but the '87 std body uses the smaller turbos and is not nearly as nice (really just a decent driver). He has asked me to begin to look at modifying a spare MRII to use on the '87 motor with some other upgrades (i.e. turbos, heads, cam), but no changes to the I/Cs. Was there a reason that you stuck with the original base and added large tube runners? Was this due to all of the fab work required to step to one of the better intakes (MR, Stealthram, etc.).
I have a miniram setup for a Callaway . It has 16 injectors and the front of the manifold is machined to bolt up to the Callaway ramshorn. Let me know if you are interested .
Best 60' was a 1.72
Best 1/8 et was 7.38 (I backed it up with a 7.41)
Best mph was 97.3
my best run as a 1.76', 7.389 @ 97.27 which I don't think is too bad for the first time out. I have a stock converter which is taking a tenth or two away from me. With the only change of the converter, I should be able to run with the 10 second cars now. Runs were on a 17" drag radial.
motor was a tad lean. I need to go up one nozzle size on the alky injection. Knock was pretty low but was still present (.8 or so).
It was fun to pull away from very loud, intimidating sounding cars and see them in my rearview.
Let's see some more times guys...

Actually, the previous owner of the car had the large runners and extrude honed base put on the car as part of the negotiated purchase price. The new intake helped the car make power levels comparable to the original intake (435rwhp/575rwtq), but with less boost and lower octane.
Personally, I would love to have a MiniRam on the car. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of modification that has to take place in order to have it mate up with the ram's horn. There is a beam of light, though. Callaway has been considering remanufacturing the 100+ intake package for those of us that did not have the opportunity to purchase one of the few cars that left Callaway with that modification. I would like to see 89b2k's MR, though.

my 94 convert. 383 * s-trim*gasesous intercooling from blowerworks* auto*354rear
dyno'd 496 hp and 543 tq
best times:

8th 7.01 97.89 mph
1/4 10.98 124 mph
I sure do wish I had your 60' times. I used to run in the 1.6 sec range when I was spraying and running high 11s - low 12s. I now pretty consistently run in the 1.8 sec range, with an occasional very high 1.7 or low 1.8 sec.
What's your secret? Care to elaborate on the suspension or other tricks?
aks, what converter and gears are you running. What tires?

It just used to hook so much better when I was about 2 secs slower. It spins on the bottom end and will skate on the top end if you really have the tune spot on. But boy does this thing charge and MPH on the top.
