Default Post Your Centrifugal Blown Dyno Sheets

I'm curious to see what everyone's dyno sheets look like. Unfortunately with the 'free' time I have right now, it looks like a packaged blower may be a better option than the twin turbo setup I was planning on building. Thanks for the help.

Before my belt broke.. I finished the session on a bigger pulley spare belt.

Nice setup, but Florida is rough without AC.

no dyno for me yet. Only the datamaster dyno so far. I'll probably hit the dyno after picking up a wideband this Christmas so that I can get it at least in the ballpark before getting to the dyno and fine tuning it.

There are some electric variable rate AC compressors out on the market, similar to what are in the hybrid cars. That could get you AC along with the twin turbos.

Thanks everyone!

Bruce, give me some details on your setup. Thats a nice smooth looking curve. What was the starting and ending RPM of the dyno?

That was my old setup. 383LT1 D1SC cogged belt setup. I think the reason the gragh shown smooth because of the cog drive system. No belt slipping. Boost increase according to rpm. That pull made 14.2psi at 4600rpm belt broken off. That was also on absolutely untuned chip. I was using my old 350ci head&cam custom chip which it is not the right chip. It should easily make 600rwhp at 14psi on a tuned chip. I later switched over to turbocharged 383.

Thats about the power (and boost) level I am looking for. Were you able to run 14 PSI on pump gas with the D1SC? Do you have any photos or a source for the cogged belt drive?

Thanks for the info.

That was a custom made by me. TJwong is selling the 8rib balancer. You should contact him. With that 8rib + 6rib balancer will allow you to do the 8 rib belt conversion. The 8 rib setup work nicely and worth every penny. With out it. The sc is craps.

Ps. check out my sig. I have a few pics there.
