Well its out of my price range but when you consider a vortech supercharger kit for a LT1 is about $6300.00 That price aint to bad (assuming it is well built) exspecially with the headers. Thats extra on the vortech kits.

I think 7500 for the headers is a bit steep, but from what I can remember, this guy has enough money. He has a homepage, that I can't find right now, and his car is all money. It was a 357ci with all the goodies and I believe a T56, coil overs and the works. I heard from a friend that he is playing with a "racecar" and lost interest in the C4. There was even a video on his sight with him driving the car. I'll try to find it again later.

Manual T56 transmission

The link doesn't seem to work, but I'm pretty sure that this is the one that your talking about. The downpipes going forward kinda gave it away.

7500, is possible I guess. It's mostly labor.
Thats all burns stainless stuff, tubing, collectors, flanges etc.
I can tell you from experience, the collectors are about 500 each, flanges are 100 bucks and each J-bend is around 90 bucks.
My header materials bill came to 1200 bucks! and I used only one collector and made my own flanges. Now multiply the 80-100 hours I have into them by shop rate and well...... eeek Im glad I build my own stuff.

I wonder what kind of modifications you'd have to make to the car to make everything fit?

Am I reading this wrong? I understand it to say 7500 for the turbo kit, including pop offs etc. Not just the headers.

The bid on Ebay is 4500 right now. In the description on Ebay he says the headers were a 7500 dollar project.

Nope, that is for a corvette.
That web page went down a long long time ago.

Looks like a lot of work to just bolt it on to an lt1. You have to replace all the accessories with the tricked out stuff he has.

I remember downloading those vids as well. it looked pretty fun on the highway, lighting them up at like 70 and the exhuast comming in the car thourgh the shifter area.
