Default Supercharging an L98

I have a 90 L98. I have considered cam, ported heads, & other various modifications to get horsepower without losing my torque. I have had a couple of people tell me to supercharge the motor. I have gotten information on Pro charger P600B & Blowerworks supercharger. I want to go with 10lbs of boost to get to about 400 horsepower. I would appreciate any information to help me understand which is the best way to proceed. Do I need to do any particular modifications to be able to supercharge? Are there others I should consider. Thank you!

I went throught the same questions before supercharging my 88 manual vette. I think the clincher was that I live at 5000 feet and that I wanted 400 HP at the rear wheels. Also, after reading the books, you get to see that you really have to figure out at what RPM band you want to add the power so as to not slow down the car because you remove power at the RPM band where you spend most of your time...

What I did was...
add 6 lbs boost with a ATI D-1 intercooled supercharger, no FMU
change to 36 lb/hr injectors
update prom
add headers and borla exhaust.

And the result? Almost 500 ft-lbs of torque and 370 rear wheel horsepower. Oh, and the car is snotty.

BTW - I did this install twice - the first time with a crappy shop. The second time with a great shop. Thats the biggest hint.
