79 L-82 for sale--Price Reduced!!
79 Corvette For Sale
I have owned this car for 3 years now. It is an L-82. I have done lots of work to it. The odometer reads a little over 49000 and it has probably rolled over. The engine runs great and has probably been rebuilt. It does not burn oil. It has a lot of aftermarket parts on this car and I'll try to remember them all:
TH-350 was professional rebuilt soon after i bought it, about 10000 miles ago. I added a B+M shift kit when I changed the fluid about a month ago.
Front suspention rebuilt using a van steel kit with poly bushings. It handles very well.
KYB shocks.
All four wheel bearings replaced.
u-joints replaced.
Holley Street Avenger 670 carb.
Edlebrock performer RPM intake.
Hooker headers with true dual pipes and dynomax mufflers.
Rebuilt all 4 brakes with new master cylinder, pads and front rotors and calipers.
High performance aluminum water pump.
New tires-Firestone Indy 500's.
Tuned Carbs by Lars

In the interior I have painted all the plastic pieces and they look good. The gauge lens and the center armrest have been replaced. The carpet is also new. The seats are new from Corvette America, 100% leather. I initially ordered the oyster color seats but when they arrived I did not like the bone white color and didn't want to deal with white seats so I exchanged them for 78 pace car silver colored seats. These look real sharp.
All of this work has been done within the last 3 years and I have receipts for all of it.
The car was well optioned back in 79. it came with the gymkhama suspension package, 3.55 gears and posi-traction rear. It has Air Conditioning, but when I tried charging the system when I got it, I found a hole in one of the hoses so I took the compressor off. I have all of the parts in a box and if the hose was fixed the AC should work.
The paint is descent. It is still glossy and shiny but there are some chips in the finish that you can see from up close. It is about a '5 footer.' The passenger headlight housing also broke and I have fixed it, the used one I got was luckily white, but it is a different shade so it doesn't quite match the rest of the paint. The body is in really good condition with no cracks anywhere. This is a west coast car so there is no rust on the frame or rot anywhere on the fiberglass.
Overall the car runs very well, and looks good.
Asking price: $8,000.
I made up a website with some detailed pics: if you have any questions please feel free to email me at nicecurves79@yahoo.com
