Default Wanted 77 or older corvette.

looking for a corvette for 7,000 or less. That I can use as a daily driver while restoring.
Could someone tell me if this is reasonable amount for a corvette of this year, and also give me info on what to look for when buying one.

thanks

I just picked up a 77 model. Yellow with tan interior. Completely original car right down to the paint. The only paint work is where the front bumper cover has been repainted. Original leather still in the car and in incredible shape. Front carpet has seen its' better days but overall incredible condition for a 26 year old car. Paint still shines great but of course is original so it has a few flaws. Loaded up car with PW,PS,PB,AC,tilt. Fact. aluminum wheels-L48 auto car. All the air cleaner parts and ignition shielding is still intact. It looks like the only obvious non-original part is the aftermarket CD player. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send pics of it. My email address is hgpreston@comcast.net-I'd let the car go for $7000. I'm chasing a 4 speed car but couldn't pass this car up because of the condition. Good luck either way!! :D

I have a 1976 corvette. Interior has been completely redone with new carpet, seat covers, brake and transmission console. New radio from custom auto sound looks like vintage radio. Deluxe interior with power everything. AC blows very cold air. Great tires with American racing wheels.

Has 107K and runs great. Transmission rebuilt with 4K miles on it. New alternator, battery, brakes and water pump.

Has headers and edlebrook manifold and 4 barrel carb.
New sharp looking paint job in December. Asking $10K.
