engine mods are a good thing but not necessary and original equip is not real important. (Friends dont let friends drive stock!!!hehe) a 78 or 79 with body conversion is cool or an 81 with out the gay carb setup that came stock. neway. thanks for any info Garrett

I know what you mean. I've been thinking about buying another vette and there is something about a curvy late model C3 that is pretty sexy. It's just hard to find one in a 4 speed. I will refuse to buy any vette in an auto trans.

How about a red 79, 4 speed, edlebrock manifold, holley carb, not stock cam, composite rear spring, new shocks, new black leather interior, new tires with ralleys or aluminum wheels (your choice), 80K miles, $9K?

There are usually three or four 80 4spds in that monthly Chevy/Corvette Buyer's Guide at local convenience stores, at least here in the US.

You should be able to find one as long as you don't want and L-82. You couldn't get an 80 L-82 with a stick.

A quick search on collectorcartrader showed 1 in FL and 1 in NH
