Default 1976 Project car

My 1976 is just frustrating me, I can't seem to fix a couple of problems with it and I can't find a shop that I would trust to do the work.
I intended to sell it even if and when I get the issues fixed. It is a Bright Yellow T-Top 327 350 that runs strong and is fun to drive. However, I need to clear out one of my garage bays.
The problems seem to be small but I just don't want to tackle them.
Problem 1 the alternator belt broke and it looks like I would need to remove the fan and cooling system as the alt belt goes on the back of the engine pulley
Problem 2 The flip up headlights don't come up. It might be a simple fix but I don't want to mess with the vacuum problem.

Asking $15K

This car is a real head turner!

I am pretty sure that forum rules expect you to include asking price.

Problem 1: You do not need to remove anything. You just need to loosen everything up and temporarily let the belts hang to maneuver the new alt belt around the others.
Problem 2: I recently did a electric headlight conversion and it took all of 2 hours to complete. That is with removing EVERYTHING involved in the vacuum system.

If you are going to sell it then leave the headlights alone and just fix the belt. Some who buys it might prefer to have the vacuum system in tact.

If you're going to sell regardless, why go to that trouble? As Bonesbrakr says, new owner may prefer stock.

Regardless, it's a great looking car and you should have no problem finding it a new home. If I didn't have so many projects started and not finished..... GLWS

By the way - these old cars always have SOMETHING needing attention. The 2 items you describe hardly makes it a "project car" IMHO. Don't sell yourself (nor your car) short.
