C1 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Looks like a nice car for those who like white. Personally I am not wild about the color combo. It would be much nicer if the interior was red or even blue.

FWIW, a car collector once told me to purchase the best quality car that you can, and forget what color it might be. Some colors are just a no-no for me though.

Just another Corvette guy
This Corvette looks surprisingly clean and rust free for a New York car.
I think the White on Saddle has always been a real SoCal look.
Maybe it's a market area thing. I know that the saddle hasn't always been the most popular color in the rest of the country but here, with the endless sun, black interiors just don't work as well with the soft top down or T-tops off.
So while I can understand others not caring much for this combo, White on Saddle has been pretty popular in the greater LA area for pretty much every year it was offered on the C3's. I had a couple in this combination myself and really liked the look. Since I moved over to Palm Springs 20+ years ago where temps are often in the triple digits, I just couldn't appreciate a black interior as much as my pal who lives up in Seattle does.
Cheers, Greg

The trim tag and window sticker are 100% original. Here is another original 72 LT1 window sticker to compare. There isn't a picture of the entire engine pad but I would guess it checks out. It is a great car and although white/tan wouldn't be my first choice, it's hard to be to picky when looking for a real 72 LT1 ac car!

This Lt-1 is beautiful and the real deal. Owner is a real straight shooter. If anyone is serious about owning a real car I can put you in contact with him. Just PM me.

I have seen 72 LT1 AC coupes bring in the 60's to 80's range in a few recent sales. Convertible LT1's with AC are bring over 100k. When you get into that kind of money for a 72 LT1 coupe, having the original driveline, original paperwork and a desirable color combo will add a premium. The car on BAT is a great example. However the color combo may keep the bidding from being another crazy BAT bidding frenzy at the finish line. Just have to see...

I wonder if the seller bought the car in VA? A friend had one exactly like that about 15 years ago, a white 72 LT1 A/C coupe, with saddle interior, and the mileage stated in the ad matches what the car had then, and the seller states they've only added about 200 miles. Very nice car, whether it's actually the one I knew in the past or not.

I'm guessing BAT doesn't indicate if there is a reserve or if it's been met yet.....? I looked through the FAQ but didn't really see this explained.
