The reply email from craigslist is randomized. You are basically emailing craigslist, who then forwards it to the seller so that no one's info is shared unless they share it themselves. That said, this car looks to be in way to good of shape for the price. I would bet its a scam.

It should be..To me that's all there worth...Rubber bumpered vettes actually are more comfortable, ride way better, less cabin noise, and have more creature comforts....Are the older ones faster ? What's fast in today's age ? Just put a top end package in a rubber bumpered vette and you will run away from any SBC 69-72..

Whether you agree with it or not, the market decides value, and in today's market there is no doubt about the fact that chrome-bumper C3s as a group are considerably more valuable than their rubber-bumper counterparts.

Thanks. Yes, that was the car. I had it for 12 years.

Exactly. Lots of people think their cars “should” be worth more, but simply, they aren’t. The 68-72 cars are a bright line value difference from the later cars.

Of course, that does mean that you can get way more car for your money if you buy a rubber bumper car. Nothing wrong with that.

I sold mine last Sunday...Got $14,250...No AC No Heat no radio had a few niks here and there ...Body mount bushings were shot....Great paint a 400 HP non matching numbers motor convertible...

2 years ago I advertised it here....Not one call in five months....73 can be a tough year to sell...Give it time and I would suggest you don't deviate from your price because of how it was maintained....Sounds like a fair deal..

There was a 68 or 69 in terrible shape, headlights on passenger seat, entire interior bare. Priced at 13,500. Then there was a really nice 75 in good daily driver condition that I think was $12,000.
Give me the 75...I will put a nice set of wheels on it and throw a 383 stroker from fbook marketplace in it and have way more fun then the overpriced chrome bumpered one...
