For those of you who haven't driven a 454 early C3 with automatic transmission and power steering, you don't know what you're missing. I have a Donnybrooke 1970 454 vert with P/S and automatic, and it's the NICEST driving C1, C2, or early C3 that I've ever owned, of my more than 90 Corvettes in the past.

If anyone here is in the market for a 70-72 Vet, and are passing on this because it's an automatic, visit Danny and give it a test drive. I'm sure you won't regret the visit.

Good luck Danny,

Steve

Very true Steve, and your advice is spot on, hit the gas hard and make sure your neck is ready and mine isn't set up for the high torque real high 3.55 or 4.11 rear axle, it's the 3.36:1 and it still will break your neck if passenger is not ready for it. Everyone loves loves 4 speeds, I get it, they are worth more and people love to shift around corners and such, but........I prefer an automatic, not just because I have bad knees, but could never shift worth a damn holding a cold beer in my right hand, lol This one is turn key, full of gas and drive to as far as you want until next fill up, like 200 miles, lol You can drive my car down the highway with just your pinky finger, it's that straight and true and smooth running car as it gets, brand new one or old.
