Default 1981 Corvette For Sale Or Trade

Here's a video of the car

Up for sale, or trade, is my 1981 Corvette. It is a numbers matching L81 350 with an automatic transmission. It currently has just over 69k miles on it. Options include; power locks and windows, power driver's seat, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, rear window defrost, and ICE COLD air conditioning.

Over the past 7k miles, the car has had several parts replaced or added.

New weather stripping
New Firestone Firehawk tires
New Monroe Shocks
New Brakes (Calipers and Pads, all the way around. Rotors were in great shape.)
Completely rebuilt front end
New U Joints
New emblems
New true dual exhaust with high flow cats and Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers
New AC Delco plugs, wires, cap, and button
New valve cover gaskets
New belts
New water pump
Rebuilt Alternator
A/C converted to 134A last year
New horn relay
New AC/heater blower motor
New AC/heater control unit
New headlight switch
New flasher unit
New low beam 6000k HID headlights.
New window motors
New window switches
New OEM floor mats
New battery
New throttle cable
Pioneer CD player with newer 100 watt Dash Speakers (Sounds great!)

The car also had the steering column rewired, and the rubber wire grommet replaced.

The car drives EXCELLENT! It tracks completely straight down the road, and stops better than most cars I've been in. It's never overheated, and it's been reliable enough to take on a 4 hour trip without any problems. The car is an excellent driver, with just a few very minor paint problems. (dimple in the hood, and a few rock chips by the wheels.)

Cash price on the car is $16,500, but I would rather trade it. I would consider trading for the following types of vehicles. Other Corvettes (c5 preferred, but would look at others. Possibly an Admiral blue C4 with some cash added, or a 78 pace car, with "decent" miles.), Chevy SSR, 67-69 Camaro, 70-72 Chevelle, or 65-68 fastback Mustangs, or a restored 67 to 72 short bed C10 pickup. Thanks for looking!
