Le Mans Master
I went back to the body shop. They color we found was a 2003 Daimler Chrysler color - and was AKZO NOBEL brand.
This is exactly what the book said:
GW/AGW
Timberline Green P.2c
DK.DN.PU
CHA03:AGW
That is not exact as I believe this car was painted prior to 03, but it is very very close.

I have a couple questions, might as well ask the forum or anyone potentially interested in the car.
1- What would be the best carpet choice. I see they range in price a bit. Is there a difference in quality between lines, or brands/vendors?
2- How would a big block swap effect this particular (base and not necessarily #s matching 350) car? My dad has a big block, and I have always wanted a big block vette...

2) This is a much different and tougher question to answer. First question is do you want to own the car, or do you want to sell the car? If you want to sell it I cannot imagine the 454 swap getting you much more for your car, but that is my opinion, but that is one man's opinion and there are many folks here but they won't see your question unless they are looking at the cars for sale section.
Why not try posting both of these questions in the general area of the C-3 forum section and I am certain you will get lots more responses. Make sense?
Good luck.

Big block cars have beefier suspension components, rear axle components, etc. And for a reason.
Check around, maybe somebody with a big block car is willing to make a trade.

I took some better pics today. A mix of in the shade and direct sunlight.
C3s have the best through the windshield view IMHO:
All the pics I have can be seen on photobucket:

That thing is beautiful, great photos! If you're only asking 20K and nobody on this site has made a serious offer I can't understand it. Lots of tire kickers here that should be buying your car. However such a nice car I would want to keep.

My initial pictures did not do the car justice. I think I will add the recent photos to the top.

This truly is a beautiful car. In retrospect, I should have taken better pictures from the get go. The pics I had were mostly from right when I found it. It looks much better out in the world than stuck in the garage.
The good news is the longer it takes to sell, the longer I get to enjoy it!

So, I found the block # was actually TBC.
So it is a 1970 350!
I know people like #s matching, but the 1970 is the desirable engine year.
Receipt with the car says:
1.60 / 2.02 valves, hardened seats
RV Cam .443/.420 lift

Pulled a valve cover today. Head casting # is 3973487
From what I am reading on the interwebs, they may be 71 LT1 heads.
This along with the receipt showing 2.02 & 1.60 valves and hardened valve seats installed tend to point to a good combo.
I am having the quadrajet professionally rebuilt now. I'm really looking forward to my next drive!
