My father was the second owner and we as a family have owned the car since 1993. In May of 2009 he gave the car to me. The car has always been garage kept and covered since we have owned it. It was not driven between 2002 and May 09 when I took over ownership. It is an L-48 auto. The car has power steering, but manual brakes and no a/c. The car has @7K miles on the odometer now and it has for sure rolled over once. It is a numbers matching car. It is Ontario Orange with black deluxe interior and a black top. It also has a non-factory hard top. The car was originally Classic White, but that was changed at some point. The paint swap was very well done. All of the jambs and undersides were painted correctly. The only place it is even noticeable is on the louver on the hood and deck lid, and under the edges of the carpet where the top folds down.
In 1994 we replaced the radiator and the core support. We also replaced all four calipers with SS calipers from Muskegon Brake. New water pump and NOS exhaust tips also in 94. The front bumper was repainted at this time too.
In 2009 I replaced the distributor with a HEI ignition system. I also replaced the plugs and wires at that time.
In 2011 I pulled the whole dash and interior because the carpet was shot. I replaced the mechanical tach with an electric one to go with the HEI. I kept the 73 face, and retrofitted the electric motor behind it so it still has the appearance of the 73 gauge. I replaced all of the bulbs behind the dash, and the headlight switch. I fixed and rewired all of the safety and system lights like the door ajar and headlight warning lights. Seatbelt light and buzzer too. I installed a stock 73 Delco stereo radio. I wired 2 new 4 x6 speakers under the dash, and 2 more 4x6 behind the kick panels. I installed a layer of heat shield, and black ACC cut pile carpet.
The car starts and runs great. Although its developed a stalling problem. Working to find and fix the issue, but for now it is unresolved.
Headlights operate correctly.
OE rally wheels, caps, and rings.
Very nice old paint job on a never hit body. The color change was done in lacquer and was done quite a long time ago. The body seams show where they should, and paint shines very nicely.
When I did the interior I pulled all of the windshield trim too. I wire brushed and painted the window frame with POR 15 to prevent any issues. The body mounts under the kick panels had some rust which I cleaned out, and painted.
Original LH and RH front grilles, and repro metal center grille.
Car has a power steering leak and transmission pan gasket leak probably due sitting.
The alarm wiring and horn are present, but the cylinder is gone, and whatever hole there was was patched before the repaint.
There is a small clunk in the left rear wheel. Only present at low speeds.
Needs new tires.
Small cut in soft top.
Parasitic battery draw. I have a quick disconnect in place.
Non-Original Parts:
HEI ignition. I have the original dist shielding that doesn’t fit over the HEI.
Black leather seats are from a later model. A 76 I believe.
After market hard top.
68 faux wood steering wheel.
The frame on the car is pretty solid, but right in front of the kick up behind the driver door is starting to rust. I still drive the car, but this area of the frame is going to need attention at some point. It has been like this for 10 years, but it will need attention at some point. For these reasons I insist that the car be inspected in person by anybody with interest in buying it, so you can judge the condition for yourself.
I would consider the car a low 3 high 4 according to Hagerty’s valuation tool.

This is a common eBay scam. Steal someone's pictures, post the car on eBay with no reserve, with no reserve the car will sell, collect the deposit and disappear. While many would not send $10k or $20k to an unknown seller many are willing to risk a $500 deposit to secure what they think is an eBay bargain. C3 Corvette's for some reason are really popular in this scam.

....And of course my buyer is backing out (hopefully not because of this fiasco). So the car is still available.
It's in MY garage outside of Detroit, MI regardless of what you may have heard on eBay.

I guess that after everybody fake "bought" my car off eBay the demand is now gone. Not one bite here or on Autotrader.
I did speak with a very nice oceanographer that wanted to buy my car for his brother through paypal

TTT with a price drop. Car has developed a stalling problem. It starts right up, but it stalls out when I put my foot on the brake. I'm trying to resolve, but want to be up front about current state.
