I've been considering selling mine... I love it but my two kids like going for rides and we take the Camaro so all can fit, thus I don't drive it very much. I hesitate to post it as it has a few strikes on your list (red interior and a 4 speed), but it has all new rear trailing arms, bearings,bearing housings, brakes suspension parts and shocks. and is in pretty sound mechanical shape. Its a not original at all 1972...

1968 convertible
I have a black/black '68 convertible, automatic transmission, numbers matching. It's in good condition. Let me know if you're interested.

I have been on the search for the past couple of months now for my dream car and haven't had a whole lot of luck finding that perfect one within my price range and not a 10 year project car. I'll try to keep this short, but if anyone could help me in finding this, I'd greatly appreciate it:
Preferences:
- Black (doesn't have to be original, and may need repainting if price is low enough)
- Interior NOT red (prefer black, but will settle for the variations of tans)
- Chrome bumpered
- Prefer Automatic Trans (just don't want to run into an emergency situation of a friend not being able to drive stick)
- 68-76 (ie, flat back window, don't care for hatch window)
- Convertible (dream would be convertible, but if not, we'll see)
- Good weekend driver that won't require too much extra work (I'll be honest, not really what I'm looking for)
- All in all well maintained.
- No preference on matching numbers, survivor, etc, just want to find a good price that I can make mine.
Please help, and if there's any other information I can provide, either reply to my post (so my answer may be public) or shoot me a PM.

I saw a black 69 4 speed convertible on the Columbus, OH Craigslist for $14,500. Since you haven't said what price range you are looking at this may or may not be something you would like. The ad says driver quality, pictures are kind of dark but it looks black/black. Hope you find one, spring is here!

but this is not a NCRS car or even close to it. It is a great looking corvette to turn heads.
