Yes I saw that: http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/4337328722.html
Thank you very much, unfortunately this wunderful car does not meet all my criteria.
Looking for a vette with no luggage rack.
...still looking!

there's a guy around here, that HAD one you might be interested in, I say HAD because I haven't seen it on craigs list lately, but when I went to look at it, he said he was going to relist it in the spring.
it's a '71
454
4 speed
bright yellow
black interior
numbers matching
very nice car but needs some little things to be perfect.
no lugage rack
he was asking $25,000 at the time but might be flexible to your budget

Too bad, that you've got to have that color! Patience and time, will tell and eventually, one may pop up at the price.
Not that color, but BB car, four speed, for $25.6 (price drop too, who knows, he may come down, yet again

Here's a beauty, locally in our area, Los Angeles for the price you're looking at (again, not the exact color). Four speed car too. Nice interior as well.

Half the fun of buying a Corvette or any such classic car is the search, don't depend on others to find you one, you will miss out on the experience.
There are countless places online to look for classic Corvettes, I sometimes can spend hours looking at the various sites, and I am not even actively in the market for one at the time.
Good luck in finding your dream car. PATIENCE will be key.
