Your car is Gorgeous!
My brother in law had a '73 coupe last year that he took in trade for work he did on a car for someone. BIW is a mechanic with his own shop in SC. It was a 454 automatic, completely stock. It was primer gray when he got it. He couldn't decide what color to paint it. The trim tag showed green exterior/black interior. Until I saw pics of your car, I've never been sold on a green Vette, but I tried to convince him to paint it to match the trim tag. He was restoring it to sell and I knew that would be the best thing to do, plus I wanted it when it was done. I thought it would be a $15,000 car with matching paint. He ended up painting it re-sale red. I told him I didn't want it and to go ahead and sell it elsewhere. He ended up giving it away for $5500. If I had known that, I would have bought it. I should have bought it for $2500 when it was primer gray.

Hi Kalaway. When I first purchased this vette 10 years ago, I thought that I would change the colour from its original green to yellow, perhaps. However, my paint shop guy talked me out of it and I am glad he did. I love the colour. When it was repainted, a bit of gold fleck was added to the paint to add a bit more sparkle. It looks great in the sunshine after a good wax job.
