FS: 1971 Corvette Coupe - Ready to Drive Home
I have a 1971 Sunflower Yellow Coupe that needs to go to a new home. This is a very nice enjoyable car to drive and is ready to drive home car now - no work needed. A beautiful car that has always turned heads when driven.
It has the original 350 engine and turbo 400 automatic transmission. The tires are like new - BF Goodrich TA's. New parts include: The original Rochester carburetor has been replaced with a new Edelbrock Rochester carburetor; recently installed stainless steel sleeved brake calipers and brake hoses; new power steering control valve assembly and power steering hoses; new rear suspension bushing replacements, strut rods, and rear KYB shock absorbers; and sounds very good (not too loud and without drone) with headers and Flowmaster mufflers now installed (I have the stock exhaust manifolds to go with car if you desire). The engine has also been upgraded with an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold (again, yes, I have the stock intake to go with car) and an HEI distributor (yes, I have the stock distributor for car also). With exception of the factory carburetor, the car could easily return to stock setup if desired. The car has 58,xxx miles.
The interior is in very nice condition as can be seen from the pictures. The radio has been upgraded with a "made for Corvette" AM/FM/Cassette with Alpine dash speakers, remote amplifier, and rear Alpine box speakers.
This is a very nice car that you can buy and drive comfortably home. The link for some pictures is http://s196.photobucket.com/user/ryn...971%20Corvette
Asking price for car is $22,500. I can be reached at 618.534.3759 I am located in southern Illinois, around Carbondale, home of Southern Illinois University.
Thanks,
