Look at Craigslist for El Paso. There is a 76 red for 5k in Canutillo, 78 Red vette (19k) and 80 red vette for 9k.

oldalaskaman, the brown one is pretty, but I wish these people would post interior pics. I've seen some that look great and the inside is trash! Will call and find out more. If I can line up a few to look at we may make an overnight trip to San Antonio to see.

You said no silver, but this other ad on the forum for a '71 near San Antonio looks like a good deal at $12,500.

Ranger9812, thanks for the info. It looks nice, I'm working on a car that I'm going to look at next weekend. If that doesn't work out, I will keep looking. I may consider this one, even though silver and automatic isn't my first choice.

It is really nice, the color is not a deal breaker. I have a car I'm looking at this weekend, but if that doesn't work out, I'll let you know. Sounds like a few others have interest, too. $25,000 is really more than I wanted to spend, especially when it looks like whichever C3 I end up with, I'll be putting $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ into! Hopefully not that many $ signs.

1982 Chevrolet Corvette

The engine is a 350 cid with Crossfire Injection, newly rebuilt with performance camshaft. The fuel injection system has been reconditioned. The automatic transmission is a TH-700R4 which is automatic overdive, that has been completely rebuilt with torque converter.
