Reduced price on 1981 Candy Corvette
I am afraid my buyer has fallen through, He was supposed to pick the car up on July 3rd to drive in a local parade on the 4th but ran into a problem at the bank and told me he definately wants to purchase the Vette but needs 2 more weeks to get all the cash together. I agreed to sell him the car for $6950 so I will sell it for that price if anybody is interested.
My Corvette has been sold pending payment.
Thanks to all who showed interest, she is a great car and will be missed.(' ')

Alright everybody, I have reduced the price on my 1981 Candy Apple Red Corvette to just $7195.
The only reason I am selling her is to buy some land I found that I want to build a house on.
Please E-mail any question to Candysharkvette@aol.com
Here is a list of what is new on the car: Radiator, Edelbrock polished aluminum high flow water pump, ported aluminum Corvette heads with 2.02 & 1.60 swirl polished back cut stainless valves, Crane Gold Race roller rockers, Comp Cam Magnum 270 cam & lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 750 double pumper carb, Proform HEI with 50,000 volt coil and low impedence module, Dynomax Jet Hot coated headers, custom 2 1/2" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers custom built 700R4 transmission, brakes, front rotors, power booster, shocks, Vette Brake & Products composite rear spring, U-joints, T-Top weatherstrip, plus lots of other smaller things.
All above parts have less than 100 miles on them.
Car is true Candy Apple Red with ground effects and wing, but paint is older and has a spot on the right rear corner about the size of your hand and someone has stripped the front bumper but car still looks very good and gets lots of looks and compliments every time I drive it.
I have approx 12500 in this car not including labor.

Re: Reduced price on 1981 Candy Corvette (candyapplevette)
2 questions:
Do you have any pictures to post
and
How quickly are you looking to sell?
If it's still up for sale in about a month, I might be interested.
