F/S 68 vert....garage find...NCRS
68 vert...time capsuel!! From what I'm told the car has been sitting since the 80's. One owner, bought right outta high school. Kept it registered till 93 with the hopes of putting it on the road, but I guess gave up. The car is completly original with the exception of the tank and calipers, which I replaced to get running. Tank sticker was totally shot. Original drivetrain, motor, tranny, rear, exhaust, suspension and so on. Probably has one of the nicest frames and birdcages I've ever seen on a 68. All original body panels and about 85% of its original paint, but the 85% is shot, tired, checked. At one point it was touched up on rear tail light panel and right front corner, But I don't see any repair work from the inside. Interior is pretty nice for 45yrs old. Mint dash, door panels. drivers carpet has a few holes, but the rest is nice(for 45 yrs old). Drivers seat has a few seams splitting and the pass is near perfect. Convertable top is in pretty nice shape also...original, but some one tore off the warning label. The vette runs and drives with no issues....it really is a nice smooth running car. I really didnt plan on getting rid of it but I'm thinning out the herd. It was a nice piece to have, It gets the most questions when I tell people its 45yrs old and never been touched od restored. Here are a few pics and I will be posting up more. Looking for 15,000........Great nostalgic driver, or the perfect candidate for a restoration!!!

LOL, car lives in the east end of long island, on the north fork. We barley got hit by sandy, other than alotta wind and fallen trees....we got really lucky.....the vette was high and dry.

....very colored '68 roadster!!! Don't see many Cordovan Maroon '68s around, let alone convertibles!!! Neat that it's a 300hp base motor with a 4spd-seems almost every base motor '68 that I've seen has been with an automatic.
...looks like a very nice, very original '68 convertible. Only 1155 '68s were this color out of 28,566 total '68 Corvettes.

Glad you are still enjoying the C3's.
