So you are looking for a '69 BB with bad allignment espacially in front and (L88) hood, original Ralley Wheels but painted black without Center piece, Sidepipes, but not original and still have the cut outs in the back and a mirror on right side.

Should not be that difficult and most of this can be done by yourself

What would be the difference with a '70 model? Would the side cut-outs be the horizontal type rather than vertical?

Thanks...

Hi d,
The 68-69 cars have the 4 vertical louvers, while the 70-72 cars have the 'egg-crate' side grills.
As Roma said that's a pretty easy exterior look to duplicate... begin with any 68-72 coupe; add an aftermarket hood; paint the car and wheels black; add chrome side exhaust; add bubble tail-light lenses.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

You may want to check out the Assisi House, Inc website. They are doing a fundraiser selling 1,000 tickets at $40 per ticket for a fully restored 70's vette. The orgainization seems like they do good work for the mentially handicapped plus a fully restored vette for $40 if you win!

That's so good. Can you try to search from craigslist?
If you want to find in your hometown then you can search through this http://www.searchfc.com/cars/California/San_Diego craigslist search tool. I hope you can find your required Car easily.

It is pretty close to what you were looking for. Add the hood and side pipes and paint the wheels. The blacked out bumpers look kinda neat but might not be as cool with the chrome pipes and gill inserts.
