1977 Corvette L-82 4 speed, for sale in Mass.
Super rare car, L-82, 4 speed, gymkhana suspension and no A/C.
Classic white with red leather. P.S. P.B. P. Windows. Sport mirrors,
YJ8 Aluminum wheels. VIN # 1Z37X7S402416.

Here is a breakdown:
MOTOR:
- L82 HI-Performance Engine
-Matching numbers original motor professionally rebuilt in July 2002.
-Heddman Hedders into true duals and new Flowmaster mufflers with H pipe. (SOUNDS AWESOME)
-Edelbrock Performer intake manifold(Have Q-jet and stock manifold)
-New distributer August 2012
-New Edelbrock Performer carburetor August 2012
-New Crane Hi Performance Distributor
-Replaced Clevite 77 bearings, felpro gaskets, roller rocker arms, ARP bolts, oil and fuel pumps.
-Dart SRT Aluminum heads
-New plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, coil.
-Bores were ok so it just got cross hatch polished, not bored over.
-New alternator, thermostat, upper and lower hoses and motor mounts.
-Mild comp cam gives a nice rumble but smooth idle and low end.
SUSPENSION:
-Gymkhana rear suspension and 3.70 gears
-Four New Disk Brake Calipers and master cyl
-Factory alloy wheels with newer Firehawk tires 255/60/15.
-New rear spring
-One trailing arm rebuilt and both had bushings done.
INTERIOR:
- Excellent interior
- New red leather seat covers and padding,
- New door panels on both sides.
- New front carpet (still needs new rear carpet -- its faded, new seat backs(the current ones have cracks) $40 bucks a piece)
- Power window regulator on pass side.
- No A/C or tilt wheel, has nice red leather 3 spoke wheel as well as original ugly Vega wheel. However, I have a used tilt/telescoping steering column I will include for additional for $400
- Sport mirrors
EXTERIOR
- New paint in 2008 -- car was stripped down to fiberglass, primed, painted and buffed to a high gloss using highest quality urethane paint in the original color "Classic White".
- Replaced the chrome luggage rack
- New rear corvette symbol with a fresh one
- Installed a new underhood black "blanket" to dress it up
MISCELLANEOUS
- T-top bags and a few other parts.
- Interior gone through (90%) 6. The wheels and tires are awesome
- Engine compartment dressed up with chrome
- Radio replaced with a CD, AM, FM (stock radio in a box)
- Comes with tons of documentation on the car, owners manuals, shop manuals, catalogs, lots of receipts on what everyone has done to the car.
- Includes Original heads, Original intake, exhaust, Original air cleaner, steering wheel, Original 4 barrel carburetor, Original radio
What does it need?
The car needs a backup light switch that attaches to the transmission (see below), its about $59 (or cheaper on ebay) http://www.corvetteparts.com/details/iid/24243002.htm . Should be a simple fix, see below.
Cosmetically, it could use two new seat backs at $40 each. The current ones have cracks in them. It could also use a new rear carpet (current one is faded). You only see the carpet if you rotate the seats forward. It could also use replacement weather stripping around the doors
