FS 1968 Corvette Coupe Project
1968 Corvette Sport Coupe.. Original running motor - the numbers match.. 4 speed manual transmission. Paint is Corvette Bronze with 425 Bronze interior. Clear Title, 7800.00, in Osceola, AR
This is a project car with most of the parts to put back together or replace and work on as you drive. It is a 327/300hp with headers and new side exhaust. It is the original motor - the numbers match the VIN. I have driven it on the lot and it runs and shifts good, the brakes need bleeding, and it has a new master cylinder. The body is in good shape, but needs to be prepped for paint, alot of the work has been done, I need the money for a 1969 Convertible project, so this one has to go. Stop by and look at it if you are serious, no tire kickers or lowballers please.
It needs restoration and alot of the parts that come with it are original and still usable, but some will need to be replaced. The frame has surface rust at the rear in front of the wheels it is thin, but appears to be still usable or maybe could use a repair job. If you don't see it in the pictures, it doesn't come with it, I do have the door panels. The tank sticker is still on the tank, but time has weathered it. I have placed a removable plastic cover over it to preserve it.
If you have any questions, or want to come by and look at it. call or text 870-6two2-5two5six for an appointment, I will answer all questions as best I can. This is a nice project.

So do you run a Corvette shop? I have seen two or three cars for sale by you (same parking lot and city) and they have all been project vettes. Do you restore them or just flip them?

I am semi-retired, I have been acquiring projects over the last few years, I have 19 c3s and I am selling some to fix others. I do have a few for sale, but I have 5 that I have been restoring from the frame up. It doesn't make sense to try to flip these cars with the market like it is.

The interior will need to be freshened up, most is useable and there, but the seats will need recovered at some time - I have had worse, these look their age, some cracks and all. The lower dash parts all seem presentable, but again this is all original. It will need carpet.
I am in Osceola, AR about 50 miles north of Memphis on the Arkansas side, just below the bootheel of Missouri.
I hope this helps, if you need anything else, let me know.

I tried to reply to your PM, but, when I submit the message it cleared and I had no idea if it was sent or not. I am selling this one, a 1974 Convertible and a couple others because I want to focus on my 69 Daytona yellow convertible.

No trades
I have lowered the price to 7200.00
Thanks everyone for all the interest, but, I am not interested in trading for anything right now, also, I am not providing financing.
I lowered the price because I received an offer, but I will not sell for less than 7200.00. If it doesn't sell, I will put it back in storage.
I also have a 76 Corvette Coupe NOM A/T for 4400.00 paint is a over 10footer, runs.
Thank you

I got the top on the 74 and it looks different, I will say that much. I like the color combination. I will post a picture once the sun comes out and I get her cleaned up.
Stay in touch and let me know if you need anything. We are cleaning up some, so if I find any extra parts for the 68, I will let you know.

Im really considering taking it back to bronze. The wife isnt too keen on that idea, but she didnt like the idea of me going green on the last one, and eventually came to love it like i did.

I was going to go with the original Corvette Bronze. You just don't see many of them and I'm sure it would be a head turner. Check out the internet - a little research will help make the decision, I have seen Corvettes and Camaros with Corvette Bronze paint, so I would think it has a little going for it. But.... you need to be sure before you hit it with an expensive paint job.
