F/S 1980 Corvette 4 speed/Price reduced
I have up for sale my 1980 Corvette. I did a body off restoration on the car and it has a ton of new parts. When I got the car it was showing 64,000 kilometers (originally from Canada). My best guess would be that it was turned over at least once so if you convert that to miles it would have been 102,000. Speedo was redone to a 140 MPH style. I have put 3,500 miles on the car since it was put back on the road. The motor is original and has a fresh Comp XE262 cam with Comp roller rockers and pushrods. Edelbrock 650 AVS carb and an Edelbrock EPSintake manifold. Corvette Central dual exhaust kit. Summit racing cast iron heads. I also put a new water, oil, and fuel pump in it. New belts and hoses. New radiator core support. All new brakes all around except for the booster. Stainless steel brake and fuel lines. The frame was sandblasted and powdercoated. All new Bilstien shocks. New 550 springs up front and a VBP 360 spring in the back. Energy poly bushings all around. Car had a rear sway bar from the factory so I think it had the gymkhana suspension option. Transmission has a build date of 1974 and is a Borg Warner T10. All new u joints as well. Trailing arms rebuilt and new front wheel bearings.
All new carpet and weatherstripping. Interior is red. Hushmat installed in the car. New Pioneer CD stereo and 4 new speakers. New seats just put in two weeks ago. Interior is 9.0 out of 10. I did not replace the door panels because they are in decent shape. The car was painted last January in GM Blade Silver Metallic. I would give the paint and body an 8.5 out of 10. It has a small crack between the headlight and the front bumper cover. One small crack on the drivers side wheel arch and a scratch in the rear bumper cover that happened at the paint shop but they never fixed it for me. I am willing to get all three items repaired if a deal can be worked out. I still have paint left over and have found a good body shop that can do the repairs. The paint looks really nice, but it needs a few small areas buffed out by a pro.
A/C is complete but I never looked in to seeing what all it's needs to get it working again. Wiper washer has a new pump, but isn't working. The horn worked when I bought the car, but is not working currently. So, the car still has a few minor issues, but overall is in very nice shape. I know I have forgotten a ton of stuff, but I will update the thread with more info and pictures in the next few days. Asking $14,900
