Just wanted to say that if the oil pressure gauge just quit working that could be the oil line going to the gauge has broken and could be pumping oil into the cabin and the carpet will be soaking it up. This happened to a car I bought. I could not tell it when I first bought the car but sometime in the past this had happened and the carpet and jute were full of oil. This is a mechanical gauge. You should take a look before you start it or drive it again.

Thank you for the post Jetmech,
Actually this happened a while ago. I bought a new line, but it seems like it is the guage itself. I have good oil presure and no leaks. I blew out the line to make sure it wasn't clogged.
I am looking for replacment guage. I may need to purchase one.
Thank you
AJ
