Default F/S 1969 Coupe Cortez Silver Black Leather PS, PB A/C

Growing Family forces the sale of this amazing 1969 Corvette. Fully loaded car with black leather, Power Steering, Power Brakes, A/C, Tilt Tele, 350/350, 3.73 rear end, 4 speed. This is a very interesting opportunity to own a very fun car. The original numbers matching engine has been removed for safety and will be sold with the car. The engine was running very well when it was taken out of the car. The current engine is one of the things that makes the car so much fun. It is a 4 bolt main block with a 383 stroker crank. It also has a Comp Cams solid roller cam with .615 lift, Edelbrock performer RPM with a Holley 750cfm Carb, hooker headers with custom exhaust, GM Fast Burn heads that have been ported. Valve train consists of Comp Cams Roller rockers. Other key parts include a Canton Road Race oil pan, MDS Billet Distributor, Fluid Dampener. The car makes over 425 rear wheel horse power. Lots of other amazing parts.

Other goodies include suspension upgraded to F41 with Bilstein shocks, Vette Brakes rear camber upgrade. New Springs with correct ride height, rebuild tranny with new syncros, Big Block half shafts, differential is fresh with heavy duty posi springs and clutch pack. I have replaced all of the rubber bushings and window stripping in the car. Paint is very good with two small blemishes.

Interior has new carpeting and additional sound/heat insulation. Furthermore, the car has all of the factory insulation underneath as well. The car retains the working original am/fm radio. Tires have less then 500 miles on them as they were new last year.

All of the original parts have been retained and are included in the sale.

This is a great car to drive and everything works on the car. A/C included. This car also shows very well. Also it is a very good autocross car. Handles very well. This car really needs nothing.

Asking $28,000

Let me know if you have any questions.

Default hood?

Not criticizing. Just wondering - is the hood correct for small block '69? Looks like there is an emblem there - 427??? What do I know...

The hood is not correct. I have the original hood you can have if you want it when you buy the car. The BB hood just looks so much better and I needed the clearance for the RPM intake. The good news is that BB hood is an original OEM piece not some hand laid aftermarket hood. I put LT1 Stickers on it for fun. There was supposed to be a 69 LT1 but the boys at GM never got it produced.

Beautiful with very nice options & upgrades! I'm partial to 1970 year but if I was in the market for a vette, I would seriously consider yours.

Good luck with the sale.

Could this car be used as a reliable daily driver 2-3 seasons of the year? Heat/defrost as well as air work well? Bird cage and frame rust free? Thanks, if so will call you, thanks

Right then...I looked at this car and there was something critical left out of the For Sale posting...

It's shockingly fast!

Having owned an original '67 L-71 435hp, there's no way that it would run with this car. And this thing is actually civilized! (if you want it to be...)
Sooo...I had to have it, she's going to Texas! Thanks Phil.

And I have to add that Boys, this is the way to buy a car. A seller that discloses everything, opens up his home to me to accomodate my oddball schedule, takes the time to really go through the car with me, and recognizes and cares that I'll take care of it.
Needless to say, I'm very happy with our deal and it mattered to Phil that I was. Looking forward to getting her to Texas.
Thanks buddy!
Cheers,
Michael

Good to hear. That is similar to my experience when selling my '69 to a fellow flying in from out of state. The Corvette Forum is hard to beat.
