Scott,
Hi - you say 'nearly' finished - what's left?
Engine re-built, how about:
Tranmission,
Clutch
Brakes
Rear end drive train
etc.
What color / condition is the top?
How's the frame and birdcage ?
Thanks,
Jeremy.

The vacuum system for the headlights does not currently work. I never tried to get it to work so I don't know what the deal is. It may just need to be hooked up for all I know or it may need a total overhaul. I would manually pull the headlights up if I ever needed them - twice I think since I never really drove the car.
The hood latches are not on the car, but are included with the sale.
The car is missing the rubber inner fender splash shields. I bought a set for them when I was building the car, but sold them to a forum member when he really needed a set and they were on backorder.
The C5 ZO6 seats are in excellent condition (better than the ones in my ZO6 ). They look really good in the car and are very comfortable, though it's a bit tight getting in and out with the large stock wood grain steering wheel.
Bought the Muncie from a forum member. Unsure of mileage, but it works perfectly.
Clutch is new Centerforce with new alum flywheel (pictured below).
Brakes are stock.
Rear end - Pretty sure it has a 3.73 gear. It's pretty hot.
New U-joints all around.
Black top. Good condition, but has one small tear. I'll try to get a pic of it for you.
Frame and birdcage is perfect and not an ounce of rust. Car is kept in my garage at all times. Only time it ever leaves is for a short cruise or to a car show.
Best pic I have of the top at the moment:
I would bet to say that it hasn't seen more than 5 full days on sunlight.
Buffed base/clear. Don't think it has ever even been waxed.
No power options.
All that being said, it's been a long time since I was hot and heavy in the C3 world. This car had always been a dream of mine so I built it right with the best stuff on the market at the time. 2 years ago I got interested in road racing my C5 Corvette so the C3 took a back seat.
I really prefer not to sell this car to someone without an inspection first. Just don't want to take the risk of forgeting to mention something that may not be right or perfect. Some people may forget that this is still a 43 year old car. I want the deal to be right for both parties.
More info as I can remember:
Forgot to mention it has a well tuned Holley 750 (new with build).
Full roller rockers
Everything engine related is new.
Poly engine mounts
Fully functional tach drive distributor
New bumpers front and rear
Stock belt driven fan and electric fan on front of radiator. Has never ran hot.
VBP rear spring
VBP rear sway bar
New chrome everywhere: bumpers, mirror, door latches, antenna, rear license plate surround etc.
New carpet front and rear:
New Centerforce clutch and aluminum flywheel. Same miles as engine < 500.
Muncie:
Had to post this one.
Misc shots from build:

Bump for you!! Wow, what a beautiful 68 Vert w Torque Thruster II's and sidepipes! The video is terrific.
The 69 doors wouldn't bother me a bit. Don't their inside panels yield an inch or more of cabin room vs. 68? GLWS,
Rickman

Yes it is the later model long style hood.
Replied.
Not much to update about. I have interested buyers in CA and the UK.
Hoping for something a bit closer, but ultimately open to anything.

Crap......
Last summer at the local car show, someone approached me and offered me $20k for my corvette. Backed away since she's worth approx 24 to me.
The sad part is I didn't take his name down !
Shows are starting in 2 weeks....
If that guy comes and see me again, I will SERIOUSLY take it a step further with you.
Drove 22hrs to GA to buy my 80vette 4 years ago !
And for your baby, I would do it again....
I guess I have to wait and see

It's a shame I'm deployed or I might be intersted in making you an offer. After my last disaster with a C3 I won't purchase without a proper personal inspection. I'm sure it will be long gone before I ever get home.
It's a great looking car though. Everything I'm looking for (except an auto, but that's the wife's requirement lol)
