Default For sale 1975 convertible

update 7/25/2011 SOLD.......
*****UPDATED 7/15/2011 Now $12,500 FIRM!
Gorgeous 1975 Corvette Convertible, BOTH TOPS, 4 SPD, AC , BLACK!!!!
$15,000. UPDATE MAY 15th.....NOW $14,000....
Absolutely NO RUST...This was a California car its entire life until I brought it to Oklahoma 4 years ago..
Since then, it hasn't seen rain or bad weather at all..
Great running, great looking, great condition Air conditioned 4 speed both top car..
The only thing this car needs is a new softop.....The one on it has a cracked rear plastic window...
I'd drive this car cross country.
fresh rebuild on the muncie 4 speed.
Matching numbers? No....but the 165 hp 350 has been replaced by a strong 400 small block...and true dual
exhaust all the way back. This car runs much much stronger that when new.

Great looking freshly buffed shiny black paint. Good looking tan interior. Currently has truspokes on car, will come with nice rally wheels with good tires. Tru spokes would be 800 extra.. Clean Green Oklahoma Title

I can email pics.... I'm locked out of Photobucket at work.....
Here is the craigslist ad with pics..

Bump for a beautiful driver Vert for $15k. Non-original color, non-original motor, non-original exhaust: WHO CARES?!

Somebody should pick this up and start cruising. The buyer will develop muscles in both arms from waving to all the chicks.

Hi,
original color was the wonderful bright green ;-/
She needs a soft top and thats it....Starts every time, sounds great,
Looks great....I'll take 750.00 off if someone doesn't want the hard top

I also have a 68 327/350hp 4spd conv. matching number car that was smooshed a bit by a falling roof in february's snow storm....starts/runs/drives...sounds great thru its sidepipes...
any interest pm or I'll post an ad with pics tonight
$9000.00 firm. Was a orginally yellow.....Now maroon.

That was a nice looking car in 8 years ago. Seriously, whats up with the 2003 pics? Do you have recent ones?

I understand the techy issues. Figured it was something like that. Come to think of it, my VCR is still blinking 12:00....and yes that is correct, not a DVD. Good luck on the car, just a little too rich for me, although sounds like a great deal.

I'm a novice here, but i think the fact that there are several non-original "correct" issues with this car, make the pool of potential buyers more limited.
That said,---It is a nice looking car, and black is beautiful on these cars.

BTW Mine's still green

If you bought the car almost 3 years ago why does it still have California plates?

Original or not, 75' is the last of the Stingray convertibles and the market is going to figure that out sooner or later. When I got my 72', the choice was the last of the chrome bumpers or the last of the convertibles. Tough choice.
