I want to sell my 1982 Covette...what is the best way?

Local newspaper, internet sites, park on the street....???? Any great ideas...I have had interest on the internet but mileage becomes an issue....How does one sell a car (from Missouri) to say a guy in New Jersey...? I send pictures, buyer likes the pictures, we talk price, agree on price and the buyer gets cold feet when the buyer can't actually see, touch and feel the car......I understand...but surely someone may have some hints...I need to sell my 1982 Corvette, 29k, perfect.....car...surely someone is looking. $16,000..I need to sell....anybody out there had success...I need your expertise [Modified by Ozarkvette, 8:05 PM 4/7/2002]

I sold my '71 in one week through the local newspaper, but that's in the fourth largest US city with a good Corvette climate. You have what sounds to be a nice low mileage car, so it would not hurt to advertise it nationally.
