The car will sell if I can get the high bidder to follow through on their bid....Listing fees are set at time of auction...With cars, there is a flat listing, and a flat selling fee, along with fees for highlighting, featured auctions, or icons as well.
First time the car sold on Ebay it went for $7,100...That buyer turned out to be a used car salesman from PA who was trying to play me for a rube and renegotiate the sale of the car so he could make more at resale time.(seems like he tried this with another corvette seller as well according to his feedback)
Second time the buyer could afford the car, but not the shipping to Texas
Third time is the charm, I have already found a 66 Mustang convertible for the wife, so I need the garage space in a hurry...Hopefully, the high bidder at the time of the auctions close is serious about things, and will follow through with his/her bid......
Ebay is hit and miss these days, lots of bad bidders in the bunch who do not think things through before placing their respective bids............
Hope you find this helpful.
Sincerely,
Bill S

With no reserve, will your car sell when the auction is over? How much do you have to pay to E-bay?
How much did your car bring the first two times, before you decided not to sell, or what actually happened the first two times. I am interested in using E-bay but would like to hear the specifics from someone with experience.
Your car is beautiful
My first Vette was a 79!!!!!!
Later and THanks,
