It looks like I'm getting a settlement from the lift manufactuer for the lift and the damage to the cars. With a full plate of projects in front of me I've decided to sell the car to someone looking for a real nice body-off convertible that needs some patching up. The frame was undamanged. Damage limited to surround panel and fender (buyer might choose to do a full clip just because its easier), new bumper, a headlight bucket, and obviously paint on the front clip. Hood was undamaged. A do-it-yourselfer and or someone with a good body guy could probably put it together fairly inexpensively. Email for more info.

Pics of the resto in progress are included in the link on my sig line.
I have $23K invested in the car right now (I have receipts) and was asking $21K OBO before the lift incident. I'm asking $13.5 OBO now.

Hope you get a fair settlement from the lift co. You said you might be interested in my car recently, so please keep me in mind when you sell yours :yesnod: Thanks, and good luck. :D
Re: Infamous 69 convert lift-collapse car FS (lbell101)
We might cut the lift insurance crap out and I'll just submit theough Hagerty. I don't think I'll get a run around from them, and I'll let their lawyers battle out any recovery from Gemini.
I'll talk to all parties and see what they think. Maybe this weekend is right for the exchange.
Thanks for being patient. My guess is you want that car about as much as I want the space in my garage!

Ya - if you can work it out for this weekend that would work great!
I'm definately anxious to get to work on it.
Please let me know what you come up with - thanks!
