Default F/s 1980 l82 $7,000

This car belonged to my father who passed away a few years ago. I can't hang on to it any longer, so it's up for sale.

L82
Automatic
98k miles
Interior and paint could use some TLC but nothing too major.
All new brakes installed 6 months ago
valve cover gaskets leaking
driver door lock assembly is malfunctioning and currently won't open
minor crack in one t-top
clear title

Located in Springfield, LA (easy trip from Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Hammond)

(had a guy offer me 5,000 cash last night.......which I think is too low. What do you guys think?)

without seeing the interior, 5K is too low, but if you could get him to 6K, I would probably take it and run. Just my dos pesos.

you shoulda took the $5k in my opinion. in todays economy and with the cost of resto parts, that would have been a good deal for both of you. just mho....

Just my 2 cents. I looked at one just like this a few months ago. He started out at 5800.00. He eventually came down to 4400.00 and I backed out. Should have bought it. He still has car and has yet to sell. Most people are holding on in todays economy. Like the other guy said 5000.oo is a fair price for both.

I'm currently working out the last minute details on a 1980 Corvette (Non L82) with 16,00X original miles in perfect condition for $10K. The economy is at its worst in regards to selling. If you need the cash, take what you can get. Otherwise you might consider holding on for a bit longer, and you might get more. Regardless, best of luck!

Don't know what an L-82 adds to the value, but its worth mentioning that out of 40k total vettes made in 1980 only 5k were L-82 engines.
