Great story. All my friends had their cars done by Vic, unfortunately I never owned a car worth pinstriping when I was a kid. The car looks great and priced well, I'm sure it will go fast. Good luck!

My father had to drag me out of them when it was time to lock up. That is how I know this Corvette that I am selling from the day it was ordered! Unfortunately, both Vic and my Dad are gone, but the great memories live on!
Man I havent seen those feet in ages! Nice memories!

Thanks for the compliments, it really is a timecapsule, runs and rides so good, never molested at all. Ths rare times I drive it around the block it ,I can't believe how brand new it feels.Original shocks, springs, belts ,hoses, some parts still have the original tags from the factory. It is unfortunate that a Corvette this original is only worth so little compared to the c1,s and c2,s, most of which are so redone and cobbled back together not to mention how many fakes are out ther now.I know because I usually have one or two that I keep for a few years then sell. The majority of them ride and perform like hell compared to this car.(But I also really love them, mostly for their looks) I wish this was a 1967 big block,it would be in my garage for another 32 years! I also wish I knew tomorrows lottery numbers!!!! P.S. I think I remember getting a message from you on my cell phone in Nov.. I was celebrating my 50th birthday in Miami, and slipped off the back of a friends boat, clothes ,cell phone and all! If I remember you had a pretty heavy southern drawl.I could not retrieve anything from my phone,to call anyone back. Then I came up with a garage spot for my 60 Vette for the winter (on showroom of Bentley/Lamborghini Long Island) so I took it off the market!

Nice60,
Great looking car, you'll be sorry when it sells.

Vic Kessler,
162nd Street just off Northern Blvd. I thought he did every car on LI.

No "Bare feet" down here but lots of "Tar Heels".

You guys remember Connecting Highway?

My trim tag says Trim 416 10L paint, book says 910= Classic white.

Paul I'm sure that you are 100% correct, the book I referenced is 'How to restore and modify your Corvette by R Newton. Seemed odd to me that he lists a 3 digit # for years 68 to 74 (and that every paint code started with a 9) and 2 digit #'s for 75 to 82 but that's OK by me.

I had a 66 Vert in 69 and sold it a year later, my first 74 was purchased used in 77 and I kept it until 80. Those car were bought for fun. Other than an oil change I never put a dime in them.
Over the years There were a few other toys, a 55 Chevy a 71 Camaro even a Triumph Spitfire a Cuda and a Mazda RX7 to name a few.
The point is I drive all my toys daily. You sold a beautiful car not long ago but to daily drive such a nice Vette will only bring down the value but would take all the fun out of it for me.
I go to shows and see the same 'Mint' Condition Vettes and the owners arguing over if the washer between the bolt and the alternator is correct.
Give me a break!
I paid $5400.00 for my 74 nine and a half years ago and the older I get the less I want to work on it.
This car suits me fine and I could care less about NCRS.
God bless you, and everyone else that cares if it is NCRS correct.
Regards Pete.

My friends used to race on connecting hwy every weekend! I grew up in Astoria so I was right there. Loads of fun but dangerous! We were invincible back then.
