Beautiful. I am tempted to offer you a trade for my '75 vert mild custom but your car is too nice for what I want for my next project. I was thinking 69 vert with C4 suspension, EFI BB and 6 speed stick.

Of course, if you would like a '75.

No backspacing on the wheels. It's the orginal hood just tough to see with everything black and no chrome on it.

Default Engine

Not sure I plan on dropping the engine in next week so I will go look at the number on the engine. I currently have it wrapped in plastic, so I need to unwrap it and I will let you know.

Thanks

Default Questions

Regarding the engine there were two 350 300 produced codes were HY and HZ, those two letters are on the engine block and are not part of the VIN. So I know it's numbers matching because when I looked at the engine number and compared it to the vin number those number's matched but I did not write down the code either Hy or HZ.

Trim Tag ZQ4 900 Paint Chevrolet F23

Hope that makes sense.

thx, looks like a base 300hp car

should be HY as that was the code for a 4 speed - HZ denotes TH400

now what about p/s or p/b - factory a/c or non a/c car

and what color black was it painted?

HW and HX would both be L-46 350/350 - but you said either HY or HZ was on the block. Both of those denote a base 350ci/300hp car

Either way it looks like a nice project car - although its priced a little steep.

Did you have it painted locally? If so who did it?

Good Luck, Ed

Steep, probably but I have put so much time and money into it myself it's not one of those things you want to give away. And truth be told I would probably keep it, but sometimes it gets hard for me.

I don't have alot of the technical knowledge to work on the car and the person I rely on to help me is not reliable. If I had some one that could help then I would probably get it done sooner.

Yes I had a guy that is in the colony paint it for me, does good work. email me and I will get you his contact information.
