OP, you can be as emotionally tied to your car as you have the tenacity for. But don’t get mad at people when your post history suggests that you are begging for OBO bids.

Followed by bump, bump, bump posts.
Then comes the trade post a few days later (which further suggests you want your car gone asap):

things I'm looking for.
New(ish) pull behind wood splitter (I'll drop 600+off depending on what shape it's in if it looks new or is new I'll drop the full retail price)
Sthil MS361 with 25" bar (500 and up depending on the condition)
700+ gallon fully functioning Aquarium (price drop will be delt with after seeing pics and getting measurments)
RARE aquarium fish (freshwater I'll need pics to get you a price drop and a correct ID)
If you think you might have anything that falls into this line of items plz let me know I'm willing to give a good amount for trade if they are what I want/need.

Maybe the offer/s that have come out are what people are willing to part with (their means).
And maybe people that ask tough questions aren’t approaching this the way you would like them to.
But this is the art of negotiation and also what the market will bear… you have a non-numbers matching automatic car that just might not be worth TO OTHER PEOPLE what it’s worth to you.
Regardless, you are the seller not the buyer. You are in a position where you need money, buyers are not in a position where they need your specific car.
I would take this as a learning lesson that things aren’t always the way you want them to be. At the end of the day you can either work with the system or against it, only you can determine which of those strategies are in your best interests and which will help you achieve your goal(s).
As far as the price of the car and the way in which you are approaching this transaction, I think you’d be lucky to get anywhere near your asking price in this market. Realistic to you or not, you might just have to accept an offer that you want to be much higher, welcome to selling in a down economy.
