Are you saying you will mail paper photos to interested parties?

I do not have a digital camera or a scanner therefore, I shall mail a paper photo to interested parties.
According to an expert corvette estimator, the car is worth from 13,000to 15,000 depending on current market conditions. I shall except 12,000but that is a firm price.
The location is in the north east part of New Jersey not far from New York City.
jsbwac I'll E-mail you shortly.

PK Guitar, thanks for your kind offer. I certainly would like to have you scan them for me. Let me know how you would like to do this. Call 973-783-1092 and provide directions and the time I should visit. I can do so at your office, home or some public place, i.e. a diner, the parking lot of a store, etc. You pick it.
RAJSID, thanks for your advice.
LT1 Hunter, the expert estimator has considerable knowledge of these things but he is not looking to buy a car. He was just kind enough to provide me with the information.
PK I'll be glad to hear from you.

Another 1976
I just read another thread on this board for a 1976 corvette. it was an L-48 probably with the turbo hydro 350, however it was restored and looked quite nice. The price was 13,000, therefore, my price of 12,000 might be too high. The car is an L-82 with the turbo 400 and gymkanah suspension, however, it has not been restored.
My first estimate (from someone in the used corvette business) looks like it was too high. Does anyone out there know more about this? I have had a suggestion of listing the price and then including a best offer statement. Should I use a time frame for this? i.e. best offer over the next 30 days, or something like that?
I would appreciate any advice, I have not done anything like this before, always just traded in an older car for a new one.
thanks, Lou

Since you ASKED....not seeing the car but assuming it is in average condition, I think you will be lucky to get $9K-$10K. Even being an L-82 does not make it that much more valuable in my opinion. If it was a 4-speed, maybe. If it is in rough shape, then value it less especially in the today's market and you have to consider that winter just started too.
Good luck.
Good luck.

You mentioned you might be too high. Having just sold my 76 I think you might be ok. Your selling point is originality. I had a custome paint job and some non-original parts, perfect running condition, stock L48 and an automatic. I got about $13k for mine. It took me all year to sell it. The market, in my opinion, is not very good right now. The best vette sales are for all original cars, so I think you may have a shot at selling a car that they made 50,000 of. Don't drop your price too quick, originality is big in the Corvette market. Good luck with your sale.

Contact Information
Yes, that is correct. I have my own computer but use the internet connection at my local library. Therefore, it might take a day or two for me to reply to a message. It is best to call me at 973-783-1092 but please be aware (as I indicated in one of my posts) I have health problems and I am usually asleep by about 7:00 P.M. If you call later than that just leave a voice message. The ringer will not wake me so you can call at any time.
Thanks again for the help Ed.
