I have been watching this car on ebay. It looks to be very nice and correct but looks can be deceiving so I was wondering if anyone out there in Corvette land is familiar with it? Thanks for any input.

Don't know the car but if it's as nice as the pics I wouldn't mind seeing it in my garage

Likely won't meet the reserve the way it's going.

Looks good in the pictures. My only question is the D 08 trim tag date. For that to be November 8th, '69s would have to have an August build date to have an A code. Were they building '69s in August of '68?

I have been talking to the owner about buying it but I would really love to have someone look at it. Is there anyone in that area of Cally would could check it out? I would happily reimburse or pay a reasonable inspection fee. Speed is of the essense because there are a couple of other interested parties. Thanks

I have been talking to the owner. He told me he has many interested parties that he is talking to. I learned my lesson in the past not to buy without seeing in person. I have tried with no luck to get a forum member to look at it. I amgoing to California this week and am trying to arrange seeing the car. Problem is, he is in San Fran I am going to LA.I am going to make an effort to see the car when I get there (of course we are expecting a snow storm tomoroow when I am supposed to leave). Will seew how it goes.
