Car looks like a great buy to me. If I could make one suggestion, I would be of the opinion that requiring nearly a 50% cash deposit to take a car for a test drive to be a little... harsh. I understand you don't want to deal with tire-kickers (none of us do) but I think this sometimes comes with the territory.
I've bought an awful lot of Corvettes for myself and others, and honestly I've never had a person even suggest to me that I needed a "deposit" to go for a test drive. If I was told that ahead of time or was asked for one before driving, I'd just walk away.
Not being critical, just some input. Good luck on the sale, it really should go quickly at that price.
Yeah, the deposit line was for the local Craigslist ad I placed. That won't apply to a forum member. I should've deleted that part. I have three cars and a car trailer up for sale, so keeping up with things takes all my evening.
As for Mike, the car is in south west Missouri. It has Louisiana plates because I never switched the registration over. (La. tags are good for four years.)

Have to admit, I considered making this same suggestion. That statement has precluded my interest, even though I think this is a good buy and EXACTLY what I have been looking for.
Like I said, that was for the local crowd that likes to look and talk and nothing more. Don't get me wrong I don't mind shootin' the breeze about cars, but I need to get some work done, too.
the month before me & a bud drove up into northern Ontario to look at a 1979 & it was gone (sold) just 2 days before ...sight unseen by a guy out west.
if a buyer is out there - it don't matter what month it is...clean /shine her up - they will come

Good Deal on a Great Car, Id be very interested if I wasn't knee deep in work on my own 82. Good Luck on your sale! Someone will be getting a great car!
You are about 500 miles from me. While I would typically trailer it to be safe, I just sold my Dodge Cummins and car trailer....so, do you think it would make the drive without the need of a priest's blessing beforehand?
What about the A/C compressor? I see in the engine bay pic it's missing. Is the interior black or gray?
