F/S 1980 Black 4 speed

I have a 1980 4 speed car that has about 138000 miles. Located in Louisville, Ky. Exterior: Paint is black. Car needs to be painted. In my opinion it needs minimal bodywork. There is a small patch on the front fender that needs to be blended in a little better than it currently is. The rear spoiler has the typical wavy appearance. Paint is chipping and flaking around drivers door. Other than items mentioned it just needs a repaint due to age. Interior: I have replaced the carpet 5 years ago and it still looks really good. I would say the carpet is still in very good condition. The seat covers have been repaced with the 100% leather doeskin seat covers as well as new seat foam. Interior overall is in good condition. Could use attention on the console and center gauge cluster. All gauges work with exception of clock. Also the 85 mph speedo has been replaced with a 140 mph speedo. Mechanically the car is very sound. Not perfect but very dependable. The front suspension has been replaced. The front springs have been replaced as well. I have also replaced the steering system to include steering valve and piston. The rag joint has also been replaced. I have never done anything to the transmission and seems to work pretty good. I have installed a centerforce 2 clutch. The clutch pedal is very heavy. The car does not have the orignal motor. I have installed a 350 4 bolt main motor with a mild build (nothing extreme). Motor has a 650 holley double pumper. All the air conditioning components are on the car but I have never attempted to recharge the air. Exhaust system has 2.5" factory ram horn exhaust manifold from the midyear corvettes with 2.5 inch dual exhaust with Raven Mufflers. Car sounds good and has a rumble. I have never had any trouble out of the posi trac rear end. ASKING $8000 or best reasonable offer. I realize the automatic cars sell for much less than this but this car has had alot of work already completed and it is a very good car. There were less than 6000 4-speed cars built in 1980 which was also the last year they produced vettes without having onboard computers.

Sweet C3. If I was in the market for a C3, I would put this right up there on the short list.

Price is right if you ask me.

I would post this on several large city Craigslist's in the midwest including Mpls, Chicago, St Louis, Cleveland, Indianapolis, etc.
