Does "NOM" stand for numbers matching, or not?

In answer to your question: NOM means Not Original Motor (NOM).

If you'll accept a few honest comments

With the incorrect motor, paint, hood and the general number of things it needs it's awfully close pricewise to Eric70s showpiece which he is having trouble selling at $17k. I imagine he would take $16k cash so you are only talking about $3100 difference. I don't pretend to know your situation, so you of course need to price it as you see fit

Good Luck, and have a great day :chevy

Ed, for what it's worth I had a similarly difficult time selling my '72 vette conv. My car was the about the same as your car with NOM engine. But mine was a California car, the right color, completely stock, and needed little to be perfect. It took a few months to sell and I showed it to a lot of buyers, but I finally got $11,600. the lesson I learned was to never buy a non-matching car again. :nonod:

Hey Ed!

You know I do alot of looking at 71 ads for the registry. I don't think you would have a problem getting what you're asking on eBay. It's cheap to list and you would know for sure in a week. Just make sure you take lots of great pictures as this is what sells anything on eBay.
That said - plaese don't sell it!

I don't think that I wan tto drive it all the way home! I did notice that you and I both share something in common. Our second cars are both Cat D8 bulldozers. The only exception is yours is G.I. Joe green and mine is factory banana yellow.

You can drive it down to San Antone and not even get your feet wet.
I'll pay your price and throw in a case of Lone Star!

Hey wait a minute! I will up the ante, 2 cases of Spam, 2 sacks of Calrose rice, 200 lbs. of Yellowfin tuna, 6 cases of San Miguel, 5 lbs. of octopus, 7 lobsters, and 13 green coconuts. Do we have a deal? And by the way, my dozer is much faster than yours, wanna race to Japan? Is the deal still good for you bringing the car over here so that I can see it this weekend?

I would love to make an offer on this but I won't be ready to buy until the end of the year.....

I could care less about numbers and the color is ok with me too! I just want a driver I can play with :D

HI ED,How are you doing? Ed I have taken off the door panels on my car.The both just about feel apart when I removed them off the door.I am not really sure if you want them or not.The metal trim on the panel was glued together on both and the carpet trim under it was also glued and had a few screws in the back holding it.The metal trim is in 4 pcs instead of 2. They also have numerous holes through the front of the panel were they did there bubba work to hold them in.They are pretty SHI$$Y looking and are almost 2 tone in color.I guess they were fine as long as they were on the car >LOL< The choice is yours. Let me know Thanks, Frank :flag
