Yea the miles are on the title and we have the last inspection sticker, plus the lady that owned it signed a mileage statement. The problem is the car sat for 20 years, and was only ran around the house once in awhile. I guess her house was more important to her than fixing up the car. Its going to be an easy restoration for someone, the bodies never been hit and no one has every really changed anything on the car.

Thanks,
RJ Sottile

If it is correct, those were some real hard miles.......... I really doubt the mileage is correct IMHO.

In almost all states, the miles on the title does not mean much, just the mileage on the meter when last registered. You can still run a Carfax, it won't have any information prior to 1989 but it will show the mileage on the odometer each time it was registered or inspected from 1989 forward. Check one out, I bet you'll be surprised. . No way that is original miles, way too rough.

Trust me the miles are right, it just sat in a carport for most of the 20 years. Everything is still original on the car including paint.

That might be alittle hard to car fax when the last inspection sticker was from 1989 besides the corvette was only titled twice both times to her. She used the car to help buy the house.

Creative way to get your business advertised on the CF. Is that a billboard behind the car?

You probably know better than me, it's just hard to believe when looking at the engine compartment. I guess sitting outside may explain the faded, modified and deteriorated interior, but the engine compartment looks pretty rough for 29K miles, missing stickers, the condition of the underside of the hood, missing hood blocks, wear on the hood support behind the motor and excessive rust. Plus, those don't look like factory tires so someone went through a set in 29,000 miles.

Anywho, good luck with the sale!

Yea i know it looks pretty rough, but its all there. I would rather restore a car like this than one thats been peiced together. I added the alloy's the car had a set of corvette wire wheels. I was able to pick up a car that had a decent set of alloys and do a swap.

Anyways it always a gamble in the corvette world LOL

...the mileage could be correct, at least going by the tires if they haven't been replaced. Those are "correct, original style" Eagle GT Outline White Letter tires.

For whatever its worth I got 16k out of my original Eagle GT's. Who ever sprayed the original Paint back on should of done a better job of Tapeing off the Cowl area and the Trim Tag. They must of been in a hurry.
