Default Selling my 76. 68K actual miles

Well,...I am trying to sell my 76. This is avery nice car that can be driven ANYWHERE. Ice cold A/C. Runs and drives nice. My price is $9,800.00.

I removed the ebay link as I was told it was in violation of forum rules

My ad for the car, along with pictures, is listed below. I will gladly sell the car and end the eBay auction at any time.

You can't link your ebay ads here... no one else is allowed to.

Sorry about the link. I wasn't aware that I was doing anything wrong. I just have my Vette for sale, so I listed it in the "For Sale" area of our forum. It does happen to be on eBay which gives a detailed desription and photos.

I'll make sure I do not let any forum members know it's for sale in the future if I run it on eBay. I just felt like the car was going to be sold, (hopefully), and would like to see a forum memeber have a shot at it. I see members posting links to eBay on ehre ALL the time.

Again, I asn't aware I was breaking a rule. How can I remove it? I will edit it and rmove it now.

I also see EBAY, Craigs List, etc., fairly often. Not sure why they are not allowed? Maybe this offends the Vette dealers?

I think craigslist is ok? The Ebay thing is in the rules.

In my opinion, the Ebay rule is a good one. If we didn't have it, we run the risk of the forum getting polluted and overrun with spam. I can already see in my craigslist. You see a car ad, and they link it to another website with a whole pile of ebay ads. If I wanted to buy a car off Ebay, I'd probably be looking on there.

If it's such a great, detailed ad, you could always copy and paste it over here.

Here is my ad;

This car is priced at $9.800.00 o.b.b , (trades considered), and comes with FREE delivery up to 300 miles. This is a very low mileage southern car. It has 68,000 documented actual miles. It is all original with matching numbers, (engine, transmission, differential, A/C unit, etc). I have LOTS of documentation with the car. It can be driven ANYWHERE. Nicely optioned with T-Tops, Cold A/C, Automatic, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt & Telescopic Steering Wheel, and a modern 10disc CD changer.

This car has it's original 350 L48 V-8 engine. It starts right up and runs great with no unsusal noises. The transmission shifts perfectly. The rear end and joints are very quite. It holds good oil pressure and runs very cool.

This has a been southern car all it's life and has no under body, suspension, frame, or bid-cage rust issues. Very solid.

From 10 feet away it looks like show room new. However, under close inspection, you can see minor rock chips and dings in the paint that have been touched up. There is some minor cracking in the paint on the front nose but it doesn't show up in pictures. Nothing bad, but it is there. There is NO sign of the car ever having been in a bad accident or having any substantial work done. It does show normal minor nicks, chips, and cracks in the paint that would be expected on a 32 year old classic. The car has a great shine and I get compliments on it every time I drive it.

The car is classic white with dark brown leather interior. The dash is perfect with no cracks. The seats are the original leather and look very nice only showing minor wear from age and use. No rips or tears. The door panels look very nice but has a minor crack on the arm rest on the drivers side. You don't notice it unless it's pointed out to you. The carpet looks good and has very nice floor mats.

ALL the electrical works on the car. All the lights, gauges, A/C, radio, and power accessories work. The headlights go up and down perfectly. Original vaccum system.

This is NOT a fully restored 100 point concourse car. It is however a beautiful looking, dependable driver quality classic Corvette that you would be proud to be seen in. These cars are also destined to go up in value.

I just made a 1000 + mile trip in this car last month with NO problems what so ever. If you're looking for an older Stingray that you can just drive and enjoy,..this is it. Everything works, it's evry dependable, and you can drive and enjoy it now.

This is the last of the affordable CLASSIC Corvettes. However, with the 1st generation and mid year Vettes bringing near $100k and the "Bumper" C3's bringing $30K +, these will not stay affordable long.

This car has a clear title and is currently titled and registered in my name.

Call me at 205-837-9225 Danny

This car is currently listed on eBay, so sale is pending on teh end of teh auction
