hope to get some input on a 77 corvette does not have org. engine has an after market jasper engine anybody have a rule of thum how much value is taken away when the org. engine is gone.

anybody also have any input on jasper engines good or junk.

NOM = 25% less, this is ballpark depending on other options and rarity of car

I have had 2 engines from Jasper, one in a wrecker with less than 3k on it locked up 500 miles from the house that low price when stranded 500 miles from home seemed really cheap then

The other one in a car I got had 2 head gaskets on it to seal the head to the block as the head was so warped. In my experience Jasper is a company that will cut any corner necessary to put some pc of crap together to make a buck and 99% of the time the engine seems to fail just after the warranty expires.

Stay away from them at all costs !!!
